I’m noticing that the 'Friday night/Saturday morning' blog (this one) is turning out to be the tough one of the bunch. It’s the one I've missed at least once and seems to be late the most often.
I overslept, but I still managed to get a little work done and here’s today’s blog post.
With the first picture, I was just playing around with the tie-downs, making sure everything worked right and still held tight under the new boots.
I glued in laces to the second boot, and I painted a first coat of black.
Like I’ve said before here, I paint things down too dark to begin with, and then later work the lights back up with successive coats.
Ultimately I want the boots to be a brown leather color, a bit darker than his pants.
