We had a minor disaster with the washing machine over the last few days. Tristan and I had to tear it apart and try and fix it.

After a few hours of searching on the internet, I figured out how to get it apart, what broke, and what parts I needed.

The bracket that hold the whole tank up had come apart, and a new one was going to cost us about $150, plus it was going to take at least a week to get here.

After thinking about it for a while, I came up with a way to jerry rig it, with a short 2"x4" stud and some wire. It's not pretty to look at, but the washing machine is actually running better than it did before it broke.

This morning I managed to get a little more work done on the puppet. The cape is really starting to shape up and look the way I want it to. One side is pretty much done and ready to get some trim glued on.

Olav - link asked me yesterday, where I got the idea to glue fabric to tin foil?

That was from my friend Mike Fleming jr - Link he mentioned it once, and I thought it was a great idea so I filed it away for the future.
