Tonight I glued down some athletic wrap to the puppets skull ...The plan is to glue the hair to the athletic wrap. I found doing it this way, the hair adheres better to the head, and the whole thing comes off a lot easier if I don’t like it.
One lesson I’ve learned making puppets is, its not a bad idea to leave a way to go backwards, because nothing ever seems to work the way you think it will the first time.
Case in point; as I was unbraiding the rope I was planning on using for the hair, I realized I had bought the wrong stuff. This rope has a very slick and shiny surface, way to shiny for the look I want.
So tomorrow I’ll go back to the hardware store and hopefully find the right stuff.

Yeah the rope does look a bit on the shiny side but nice idea with the athletic wrap....Oh super looking comic your friend has there!
