I haven’t felt much like blogging lately. Since trying out Dragon Frame with my SLR and seeing the results, (the top image is a still from the test) I’m finding myself wanting more than ever to start animating.

I still have a few things to do yet though.

Still painting on the cloak, seems like its never going to end, but I’m making some good progress. The back is now 100% done and the inside just has one strip down the center to fill in.

The cape looks nice! I can't wait to see the character come to life in his entirety.

Love the shadows on the cape (last picture). So, you painted it with a mix of paint and "FX flexible product" or you tainted it ?

Btw, the first picture look a bit yellowish. When i did my first tests, i notice that the settings on the camera about the type of light bulb i was using, affect a lot the picture you take. (ex: set for neons or LED, but picture taken with tungsten bulb will give a yellowish look. Invert that and you'll have a bluish tint). You may already know that. Just want to be sure.

Thanks everyone.

Vincent I painted it with just acrylic paint. No need to use a flexible mixture like for latex, since the paint can grab onto the fabric better than latex & thanks for the bulbs tips.
