I couldn’t find my camera again this morning. I took it with us to a restaurant last night and I’m hoping I didn’t accidentally leave it there.
So the first couple of pictures are from the Panasonic and the rest are off the webcam (Its tough to get a decent picture with the webcam)
… and for some reason my pictures are uploading at a different size. I dont know whats up with that, but I don’t have time to fix it now, I’m sure blogger just changed some setting that I’ll have to figure out how to change back. Note: So this whole thing is fixed now. Blogger is still re-sizing my photos, but as a work around, if I just upload straight into Picasa web they come out the right size.
So I’m sorry the post is a little screwed up today.
I ended up not redoing the boots. I just stuffed in more green foam. I cut little openings in the side so I could pile it on the tops of the feet. I think the boots looks good enough at this point.
Shelley - Link brought up a great point in the comments yesterday, about ‘what doesn’t show’ on film. Its something I’ve noticed myself. So many little details never even show up once its seen through a camera lens. The boots aren’t going to be the star of the show … and like I said, they’re good enough .
Other than that, I just continued painting the boots, the left one is 100%. Hopefully tomorrow I'll finish them both up.

I was thinking yesterday...how much of the boots are going to be seen?....But didn't like to say!
There are to many things to sap your energy even in a small stop mo short.
Oh and I hope you find your camera
HOORAY! Good move, Jeff! GOGOGOGO!
Justin has made many films now and has oh, 1,000 times the experience I have, so I've been trying to "see" the corners that CAN be cut through his eyes.
And I am also very aware that these stop motion projects are a bit more than film entertainments alone. They are also nothing less than personal works of art. That move.
OMG, what are we doing?!!! It's mad!
:-)
100% boot tastic man!!
jriggity
Thanks Steven
Thanks Shelley, I agree they're everything from sculpture to painting, to performance art ... to a bunch of other stuff. Its crazy!
