Hi everyone, yesterday I made a video, so I thought I would repost ... just incase you missed it.

This morning I started work on a pair boots. I sculpted the soles from bake-bend to give a little flexibility. On the heels I used just regular sculpey, and I attached them with super glue.

Then I drilled some holes and fitted them out with a couple of tie-downs.

I went ahead and glued them straight to the bottoms of his feet, but I only glued the toes down so the heels can still slide around and raise when the puppet walks.

Tomorrow I start on the top part of the boots.

Love the look and feel of the movement of your new puppet...you can't beat Ball & Socket armatures!!
keep up the great work!

Jeff, great video.

I went back and read some of your previous blogs and I agree with Shelly(?) on if you need sleep then sleep. Don't sacrifice your health or job by being exhausted.

And don't beat yourself up just because you didn't get anything done physically on the project the other day. Sometimes you have to take a step back and see the big picture as to what needs doing. That way you can see what worked and what didn't which ultimately gets the project done faster.

As always, keep up the great work. We're pulling for you!

yay, Rich. You got it right, fully agreed. I pushed too hard and am now paying a hard price. Resting to be able to work.

Really clever to use flexible boot sole's Jeff! Things are looking great!

hey puppets are looking great, ill agree with you about the ball and socket armatures, much better than wire and more reliable. i made some hinge joints for my homemade armature, i made a little video explaining how to make them, take a look its might help, might not.

anyways great stuff.
