I agree with Mr Whitehouse, I like the video idea. It seems like a stronger connection to the audience, plus you can give a clearer insight into your work, rotating the faces and pointing things out etc.
Hi Jeff ! Sorry for being so long for to come and comment. I was busy. So... well I think to post some vids explaining your making of process is a great idea ! Probably a lot of work more for you, but it's really interesting, and as Dean said, it can strengthen the connection between you and your audience. It also permits to people like me, who're not into animation, to discover this world and to make the connection between this discipline, and the one they practises ! Like comic art for example ! Here, we have a big example of the relation that exist between the both discipline, I guess. I like the vid on the top too. If I understand well (I might not) it's a vid showing the current animation's progress, is that right ? It's a very good idea, and it's fantastic for us to see each step ! I'm amazed by this work of capturing the facial expression, and rendering them by carving. I know this is what Dreamworks or Pixar guys do, but to see a friend do the same, it's very exciting ! It means all of us can do big things ! I really enjoyed this vid ! Hope you'll have enough time to show more ! :D
